De La Rue Mercantile Mercantile Traders (MT), established in 1973, is a company within the Mercantile Group of Companies the largest office automation group of companies in Nepal. It specializes in non-computer office automation like copiers, digital copiers, printers, fax machines, currency and coin counters, currency and coin sorters, telephone exchange, system (EPABX) and typewriters etc. MT has a staff of around 75 persons. Its head office is situated in Mercantile Building, Durbar Marg and Kathmandu where its main showroom, administration and service center are situated. MT has been associated with De La Rue for over 15 years first through Brandt Inc, USA and directly with De La Rue Cash Systems from 1995 when Brandt became as subsidiary of De La Rue. De La Rue is the largest selling note counters and sorters in Nepal today. MT markets a large range of De La Rue products from small portable note counters to large heavy duty note counters to the most sophisticated note sorters.
