Kathmandu, 24 May – The Nepal Britain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NBCCI) organized a high-level interaction with UK Minister for the Indo-Pacific and Equalities Seema Malhotra under the theme “UK as a Full Spectrum Education Partner for Nepal.” The discussion brought together stakeholders from Nepal and the UK to explore cooperation in education governance, vocational training, skills development, higher education, research, and institutional partnerships. Minister Malhotra reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to Nepal as a long-term education partner, emphasizing a “full spectrum partnership” across public and private sectors and student support. UK Ambassador Rob Fenn highlighted continued UK support for Nepal’s education reforms and the role of the private sector in driving employment. NBCCI President Dr. Roshan Rathi emphasized sustained dialogue to further strengthen bilateral education collaboration. The event underscored growing UK–Nepal cooperation in education and skills development.
