NBCCI held a meeting on 4th May 2026 with Prem Goyal and Tim Gocher to explore collaboration opportunities between Nepal and the City of London.

Key discussions focused on strengthening business linkages through networking, knowledge exchange, and business matchmaking for NBCCI members. The City of London representatives highlighted key sectors such as sustainable finance, fintech, AI, and digital assets, while also offering support to NBCCI members in accessing UK networks, understanding market practices, and exploring investment opportunities.

Both sides agreed to initiate collaboration through an initial virtual knowledge exchange session, followed by quarterly “Opportunities with City of London” sessions exclusively for members. Support was also extended to promote NBCCI within the UK and generate associate membership leads.

The meeting further explored the possibility of facilitating a future visit of the Lord Mayor to Nepal and emphasized the importance of continuous engagement and follow-up to ensure meaningful outcomes.
